Luke Boggs receives prestigious Cicero Award for speechwriting

The Wyche Group is proud to announce that our adjunct senior writer, Luke Boggs, recently received a Cicero Award for his speechwriting.

The Cicero Speechwriting Awards celebrate the talent in research, writing and rhetoric that help leaders achieve prominence in the public and private sectors. These awards are presented by Vital Speeches of the Day, the leading publication in the speechwriting field.

A Cicero Speechwriting Award showcases a speech as a superior example of contemporary oratory, and it recognizes the writer as a standout in the field.

This is Luke’s second Cicero Award.

Luke has been working with The Wyche Group since early 2008 and he provides our clients with expertise in corporate communication, strategic thinking and executive messaging.

He has written speeches and other key business messages for more than a decade, helping CEOs and other leaders communicate effectively and advancing the agendas of organizations large and small.

Luke's speechwriting work has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and The Washington Post and featured in Vital Speeches of the Day. He has written for audiences including the National Governors Association, the Yale School of Management, The Conference Board and the Columbia Political Union.

Formerly an executive speechwriter at MCI, Luke has written for media outlets including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Charlotte Observer and Georgia Public Radio. He has been a columnist with Points North and Creative Loafing, and he currently provides special editing services to a nationally distributed magazine.

We at the Wyche Group congratulate Luke on his accomplishment!
